ABOUT

Producer, Composer, Arranger & Keyboardist

Her musical biography spans traditions, continents and generations. The daughter of a professional jazz pianist, learned various kinds of music during her younger age. Born and raised in Japan, she pursued her music interest from classical music to Rock, R&B, and Latin throughout school age. Later as a young girl in Japan, she participated in all female salsa band Chica Boom and recorded 2 albums. During that time she had a chance to travel to Cuba for performing at the carnival and learned the country’s folklore, religion and music.

Moving to New York City, she has expanded her interest to Jazz Fusion, Rock and R&B. Later she formed R&B unit JaiNori. Also traveled a couple of times to New Orleans to explore its traditional music. She continues her journey to unite the different styles of music she loves, mixing into her own music.

Here she introduces some of her pieces, divided by genre.
